Come home to this safe family run hostel where you not only become part of the family but where personal attention is the order of the day. This is where cleanliness and comfort meet budget. We have an amasing sunset balcony from where the Swartberg Mountains form an idyllic view. The hostel has an internet cafe (adsl), swimming pool, pub with pool table (set away from the hostel so no party noise near the rooms),we have a video library in the lounge, laundry facilities, free towel service, safe offroad parking, we have satellite tv lounge, indoor and outdoor BBQ facilities, fully equipped kitchens and our beds are WIDE with thick mattresses.We have dorms 6-10 people, doubles, twins, doubles & twins with en-suite facilities, tenting on shady grass.We supply daily meals and our daily Ostrich BBQ is fantastic with an Ostrich fillet steak done South African Style on the fire, vegetarians enjoy a Paradise veggie scewer and stuffed gemsquash. For breakfast during August until March every year we supply ostrich egg DIY style free of charge. We also serve a full breakfast for the more comfortable traveler year round. Paradise has an adventure centre on the premises and offer really great Mountain Bike trips, day trips and adventure trips that depart at 8:30am every morning. The cycle trip takes you tothe top of the Swartberg Pass (1584m above sea level) and you are able to visit the world famous Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm (ride an ostrich), Wildlife ranch to stroke a cheetah and Camel farm all en-route in one day out in the country (even a detour cycle to the waterfall for a swim can be included). It is a really beautiful ride. Other popular activities include quad biking, abseiling, visiting a Meerkat family (Meerkat Magic) when they greet the day to name but a few! The hostel is situated walking distance from the local Restaurants, Movies, Museum, Supermarkets and Banks. For any more details or to make a reservation, please contact me at any time. It is important that we know how guests will be arriving, by hire car/own transport, Baz Bus, Coach Bus, Taxi or hitch hiking! We do accept travellers cheques in Rand currency, cash and we have credit card facilities.FIFA World Cup 2010During this busy time, June and July 2010, please note that we require full payment of the balance in advance.
