Lonely Planet review

This friendly hostel is in a 100-year-old building within walking distance of the city and places to eat and drink, but the area is pretty dodgy, especially at night. It’s comfortable enough, with a braai area and a garden. Breakfast costs R25. The hostel organises transport to the Owl House Backpackers in Nieu Bethesda as well as local tours.
