Hallelujah! Table Mountain finally gets the café it so deserves. This self-serve place offers tasty deli items and meals, compostable plates and containers, and good coffee. They also sell wine and beer so there’s no need to cart your bottle up the slopes to toast the view.

    Great views, great food

    barcelona83 recommends this,

    Whether you've walked up or taken the cable car, Table Mountain Cafe offers a welcome place to put your feet up and refuel. It's bright and airy and offers a great variety of food. I'm veggie and I didn't go hungry. I'd recommend getting up early to beat the crowds and then having breakfast and an excellent cup of coffee once you reach the top of the spectacular mountain.

    Sensational views as the car rotates around as it rises

    The trip up Table mountain in the cable car is almost better than the views you get once you actually arrive at the top. The cars rotate slowly as you travel skyward giving everyone a 360 degree view of Cape Town below as you venture upwards.

    Good for: sightseeing, taking photos
