Lonely Planet review
This Fair Trade in Tourism–accredited operation offers affordable style, a buzzy vibe and fantastic staff. Its dorms may not be Cape Town’s cheapest but they’re among its nicest, while the private rooms are charmingly decorated. A fun new addition is their tepee tent (double occupancy R300). There’s a lovely mosaic-decorated pool and relaxing gardens to chill out in with Table Mountain views. Rates don’t include breakfast.
Our independent authors have visited The Backpack and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Gardens & Surrounds.
