Rick’s Café Americane
No Sam to play it again, but everything else looks like it could be straight from Casablanca (including the famous neon sign) at this movie-themed bar and restaurant. Wear a fedora and make like Bogie and Bergman.

Salt
The hit of this revamped hotel has been its minimalist-decorated restaurant and bar. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide a vertigo-inducing view right over the crashing waves and rocks of Bantry Bay. Nice for cocktails and nibbles on the way back from Clifton.

Skebanga’s Bar
If you’re down this way, say after a drive along Chapman’s Peak Dr, the bar above the Red Herring restaurant is a pleasant place for a drink or a bite to eat. There’s a good view of the beach from the terrace.

Neighbourhood Bar & Restaurant
From the Royale Eatery team comes this relaxed bar and casual restaurant where the colour divide of Cape Town melts away. Their long balcony is good place to cool off or keep tabs on Long St.
