Hannes Myburgh is the eighth generation of his family to have run this historic wine estate since 1756. They are most famous for Rubicon, a wine that John Platter’s guide once called a ‘pre-eminent Cape claret’. Its tasting room, decorated with the owner’s collection of posters and a fine history of the winery, is worth a look.
