Hi,
I am a girl from Hong Kong, will make my first visit to Cairo from 7th to 10th May.
As my friend is not free in the day time, I have to go around by my own.
Just wonder any companions I could make here? Or will you suggest me to take some one day tours?

Xx

We are planning for a self catering trip to the three main islands in October. We will bring our one year old so we would like to know about the sizes and prices in supermarkets on the islands since we plan to do all our cooking. I guess Victoria has dscent sized supermarket but what about Praslin and La Digue? When I googled I found that they opened a good sized supermarket on La Digue a year or so ago. I think it was called STC or something similiar.

Any suggestion regarding accommodation, precaution (several posts in the web who mentioned Egypt is a country full of taut)?
Anyone/group have plan to travel at similar period? Please let me know.
Thanks

Does anyone have suggestions for good overnight treks in any of these countries? 2-3 days minimum but not longer than a week each. I prefer DIY over organized treks. Do the treks require a guide? Reservations ahead of time? Thanks in advance.

Hello all

We are a well travelled family of four (boys age 16 and 12), who are going to Morocco this summer (july 2016). As part of the trip we are going to Imlil and want to climb Toubkal.
Have anybody done that with kids and is it possible? They are very fit, and have done trekking in Laos and Nepal. Can you tell anything about day and night temperature at Toubkal in july (regarding what clothes to bring)?

Thanks.
Gitte

Hi,
My boyfriend and I are planning on travelling to South Africa for 2-3 weeks as of August 8th. We don't want to do safaris, we have done plenty: we lived in Tanzania and we live in Nairobi now. ;) We don't drive, we like trekking and are big fans of nature(océan mountains, volcanoes, qqqqqwaterfalls, lakes, cliffs)but we also like cities. I really want to see the Blyde River Canyon and the Drakensberg. My boyfriend is really looking forward to seeing Johannesburg. I really wanted to take the…

Hi all. I'm planning to go to Egypt in July (HOT!!). I know that the black market exchange rate for EGP is 20 - 30% better than the official exchange rate. Does anyone have advice on doing this?
1. I am flying into Hurghada. Where can I go there to change money? How do I find the people to change with?
2. Is it generally safe?
3. I know the basic rip offs (fake money, a wad of bills with the real ones on top, snatch and run). Any non-obvious scas to worry about?

Hello,

My wife, my daughter, and I are planning on coming to Morocco for the first time for sightseeing for a week (8 days). We will be arriving from Madrid. We can arrive between May 18th to May 21st. We will be leaving for Malaga, Spain after Morocco. We are not sure how to plan our itinerary in an optimized manner. We are interested in sightseeing-seeing, colorful architecture, palaces, medinas, Islamic art, etc. and some shopping. We are thinking of staying in Marrakesh, Fes, Tangier, or…
