Hi everyone,

We are arranging our accommodations for our Tanzania trip. We ideally want a mix of basic camping, tented camps and lodge but now the cost with this together is a lot more than expected. I'm trying to cut down on the nights we have tented camps and lodges and just have more days of basic camping. But I'm not sure which nights to do camping or tented camps/lodge. Please give your input on which nights might be best to do camping vs. tented camp/lodge. Thanks!

Hi,
Im planning a trip to Loango and Moukalaba Doudou national parks in the end of January 2017.
If there is someone with similar plans, please contact me ,so we can cut the price a bit down.
Doing it on my own would be a bit expensive.
You can contact me at janvilinsky@gmail.com

Hi guys!
We are heading to Zanzibar for 10 days in December (before Xmas, hoping to avoid the big crowds of tourists).
My draft itinerary is:
#2 days: Stone Town
#1day: tour from Stone Town (maybe Prison Island+Nakupenda) or Safari Blu? (any suggestion on the best tour?)
#3days: Jambiani (beach, forest, bicycle trip)
and then:
#3days: Pwani Mchangani (relax, kayak, bicycle trip to the North, maybe snorkelling?)
or
#2-3 days in Kizimkazi (maybe before going to Jambiani)

Unfortunately we have no time to…

Has anyone tried to get a Visa in South Africa for Angola? We're an American couple and traveling to another state just to get a short-term/transit visa won't work. Hoping to go to the Angolan Consulate in Cape Town to get this sorted. Any advice?

Has anybody got any advice on learning a bit more on Zulu culture on my to South Africa next month?
Shakaland seems to be very disney-style of course. Could be interesting though.
Has anybody been there and could tell me about it?
LP recommends Zululand Eco-Adventures in Eshowe; anybody familiar with that?
Besides the usual things like dances, sangoma visits, ceremonies, I'd love to see some reenactment fighting Zulu style. Do you know where to find this?

I just found out a USA citizen must get your Mozzie visa before leaving the states. The single entrance visa is good for two months but one can only stay a month.
