VISA

Hi there.

Could someone tell me whether there is a chance of getting a visa for Equatorial Guinea but NOT from their embassy in Berlin? I'm from Poland and would like to travel there this summer but the price is a little high for me as I'm planning to visit neighbouring countries as well. Is there any chance to get the visa for EG from Cameroon or Gabon?
Any information about this topic and the current situation in Equatorial Guinea is important to me.

My GF and I have hired a 2wd Toyota Corolla for a self drive in and out of Windhoek. Excluding pick up days we've 23 days - in July - and want a relatively relaxing trip with some days off from behind the wheel. Is this enough time to see Sossusvlei, Spitzkoppe, Etosha and the Okavango and get back to Windhoek? Grateful for any input.

We are planning a very short trip to Zimbabwe (one week)with 2 seniors (one minorly disabled) and an 8-year old...so total 'roughing' it is not really an option. We're hoping for 2-3 days in Victoria Falls and 2-3 days on a safari. After an admittedly cursory search, it seems most safari options are about $550-600 per person per night. (heart attack) My questions, if you'll be kind enough to help...

  1. Is this a reasonable itinerary given our time limitation? (We are flying from Hawaii…

We will be in Ethiopia the first week of October through the third week of November and would like to find another couple people to share Danakil expenses. Ideally we'd prefer to do this right at the beginning of the trip or towards the end, but we're flexible. We'd also rather travel as a small group than join a lot of people.

We're a middle age couple and are very experienced travelers. We're primarily interested in natural history, but obviously culture and food are priorities in…

Hey Guys,
Thinking of booking a trip to Uganda In September for about 3 weeks.Very early stages of planning.Just wondering are things in general expensive over there for tourists.I know the gorilla trekking etc sound a bit extortionte. Have only been to Ethiopia on the continent and just wondering how it would compare expense wise and in terms of safety aswell.Where ever I go I plan on using public transport. Are the Ugandan people friendly by nature?.I don't have anything in particular to see but…

Hi,

I have 4 days and 5 nights to vacation after I finish up a day of work in Maputo.

I'm wondering: is it worth staying in Maputo one extra day to explore the city, leaving me with only 3 full days in the Vilankulos / Bazaruto Archipelagos area? Or should I spend the full 4 days in Vilankulos instead?

(I fly out of Vilankulos on the 5th day, so I will need to end up there anyway.)

I was born in Kenya but have not been back in 20 years. Now I am returning with my family and was wanting them to enjoy the experience of the train. A friend of mine in Nairobi, is advising me against the idea sighting safety issues. I was wondering what recent travelers had to say. Thank you.

Hi there

Three of us from UK are staying in Dar at the moment, renting a house we found on Air B&B, it's four bedrooms, we're looking to fill the remaining room to keep price down. It's near the Airetel headquarters just 5-10 mins from beaches (including coco beach).

Under a tenner a night. Two of us are willing to share a room so there are potentially two rooms free, both with double beds. Around for about a week. If anyones interested reply to this comment!
