I am planning a trip to Egypt and want to fly to Kenya then from Kenya to South Africa (w/ Fastjet airlines). I want to know if there is a low cost airline from Egypt (Cairo) to Kenya (Nairobi)?
As I'll find myself in Kenya at the end of August, I'm thinking about going back up by field transports until Egypt/Israel, depending on the final budget and time (if going for the second option I'll surely pass through Petra as well).
Apart from any interesting advices you might have, I'd like to share my plan right now to know if it's feasible to you and what would be the price.
Nairobi to Addis Ababa via Moyale (25+10$ after the border). Any detour that doesn't cost me much more…
I am planning on travelling by land through Europe and Africa, the only part of the trip I cannot work out is how to get to Egypt by land or sea from Europe. Any ideas, has anyone done this recently?
Ok so this is pretty much my first day of looking into Madagascar. I'm looking to have about a 10 day trip (flexible) and would like some itinerary ideas. My husband and I would like to see wildlife, have a little bit of beach time, probably kayak, see some baobabs and walk in the national parks (we are both in early 30's).
We went to Costa Rica last year and loved the fact you could stroll around and felt totally safe at all times, is this the case in Madagascar or is it unsafe? Do…
Does anyone know if there is any bus company where I can make reservations for a seat in advance? I tried AXA and it is first come first served. This is the one from the City Mall bus station. My dratted herniated neck is acting up (been abusing it a LOT lately and it is understandably acting up).
I'm keen to find out if it is possible to cross the border from Zambia to Zimbabwe at the Vic Falls on foot - just for a day visit to see the falls from the Zim side.
Hope you can help.
