Business hours
Banking hours in Honiara are from 8.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday (ANZ and Westpac open at 9am). Government offices open from 8am to noon and 1pm to 4pm Monday to Friday. Private businesses close half an hour later and operate on Saturday until midday.
Most shops in town open from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday and until noon on Saturday - some open longer, including on Sunday.
