Lonely Planet review
This small complex has suffered in recent years from a lack of maintenance and TLC, but at the time of writing, capable new managers were working to get the place back into shape. It consists of five spacious waterfront bungalows that blend tropical hardwoods and traditional leaf. It’s quite spread out so you can get a decent dose of privacy. The defining factor, however, is the lovely bar and restaurant directly over the exquisite waters of the lagoon. The narrow beach is average, but the snorkelling is sensational.
Our independent authors have visited Fatboys and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Gizo.
