Lonely Planet review
Anchored on a steep hill with a kinky funicular that shunts people between the rooms and the reception area, this longstanding venture features a variety of spacious units scattered amid beautifully landscaped grounds and boasts a stress-melting swimming pool built into the hill. Most bungalows are self-contained. Not all rooms have an ocean view. Compared with its competitors, the ‘King Sol’ has a more laid-back feel. Avoid the onsite restaurant and instead head to Bamboo Bar Cafe next door.
