Lonely Planet review
The stylish 26-room Cubo has raised the bar of Ljubljana accommodation. The overall design is minimalist, with an emphasis on neutral tones of grey, beige and charcoal. Unusual are some of the high-quality materials used in the furnishings: check out the silver thread in the guestroom drapes that cost a king’s ransom and the bedside lamps made with silkworm cocoons.
The modern art – especially the calligraphy – adorning the guestroom walls and public areas is well-chosen. The in-house restaurant has gained quite a following in Ljubljana.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Cubo and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Ljubljana.
