Castle tours depart from the bridge at the castle's main entrance and include admission to the tower and museum. You can reach the castle from the Old Town on foot in about 15 minutes via any of three routes: Študentovska ulica, which runs south from Ciril-Metodov trg; steep Reber ulica from Stari trg; and Ulica na Grad from Gornji trg. The fastest way to reach the castle is via the new funicular, which ascends from Krekov trg in just one minute.
