Surrounded by green nature, Hostel Idrija offers free Wi-Fi, free parking, a lounge room with cable TV and a shared kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove and kitchenware.

The hostel is 450 metres from the town centre and 600 metres from the bus station and the Idrija Museum. Guests can also visit the silver mine, which is a 5-minute walk away. Gewerkenegg Castle is 700 metres away.
Most restaurants around town offer the locally typical dish called Idrijski žlikrofi. The rich plant life at Divje Lake can be enjoyed about 3.5 km from the hostel, while the Cerkno Ski Centre is at a distance of 27 km.
