Lonely Planet review

A fantastic addition to Slovenia's hostel scene – private rooms and dorms are immaculately presented, but each is a unique installation, decorated by local artists to tell a story from Celje's hidden history. Who can resist the room of the Celje ninja (costume included), the giant catfish or the cop who had to arrest himself? There are regular music and social events, plus free bike hire.

Our independent authors have visited MCC Hostel and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Celje.
