Climate & when to go
There’s snow by November that lingers at least until May. June and July are especially rainy. July and August are the warmest (and most crowded) months. Hotel prices, and crowds, are at their lowest from October through April. September may just be the ideal month to visit, but in any month there’s an off chance of snow at higher elevations.
