Buke dhe Embelsira Franceze is a great place to grab a bite that is a little more sophisticated than the average Albanian restaurant without going to a more upscale establishment or one of the big hotels.

There is an amazing selection of western European style breads, rolls, fruit or cheese brioche, eclairs, cream puffs, and more delightful items.  Sandwiches are also made using the freshly baked French baugettes.

Prices are a little steep for a backpacker's budget, but might be worth it if you have been living on sufflaqe, sandwich, and qofte for a week.  It is also an excellent choice for a reasonably priced nice treat for expats living in Tirana.
