Introducing Maho & Mullet Bay

If you have a few hours to kill before a connecting flight, make your way to Maho. The beautiful beach is situated at the end of Juliana airport’s runway, and perhaps the world’s lone stretch of sand with a sign that reads: ‘Low flying and departing aircraft blast can cause physical injury’ (with the obligatory picture of a stick figure getting blown away).

If you aren’t into waving at passengers as they land on the island, this flashy area of St-Martin/Sint Maarten offers countless casinos, clubs and restaurants.
