In January the average daily high temperature is 29°C (85°F), while the low averages 22°C (72°F). In July the average daily high is 32°C (90°F) and the average low hovers around 24°C (76°F).

The annual rainfall in Statia averages 114.5cm and is split between two distinct periods – the wet season and the dry season. Mid-January to June is the dry season while the remaining months corresponding with the hurricane seasons are obviously quite rainy. Relative humidity is in the low 70s from March to December and in the mid-70s in January and February.

Statia’s relative lack of tourism means that prices stay the same most of the year. As a result, it’s a good place to come December through April when nearby islands double their rates.
