    Staff not adequately trained.

    I was at this shop with my family April 23,2011 1:30 pm at Marina Branch and got some discs. My son got a Star Wars Trilogy Set which was tagged $39sgd which he wanted to watch. The serial #s were S2K 92650, 51 & 52. Paid for it with 4 other music discs with a total of $269sgd.. As I was leaving I looked at the invoice and saw the Trilogy disc was priced at $79sgd! Went back in the store to ask the clerk (Liwaliwa "Lei" Lacuesta- a Filipina) why the price was different. She looked at the computer and said it was a dvd. Sure no problem I said as long as it is a movie disc. She confirmed it was a "MOVIE" disc. So I left the store. Arriving back home in the Phils today at April 24, my son played the disc and we were surprised to find out it was a Soundtrack disc meaning it was the musical score of Star Wars. We were really disappointed. So I called up "overseas long distance" to their store in Marina Shoppe in Singapore to talk about it. Lei answered the phone, said my concerns and she accepted her mistake. She said their policy is to replace it within 7 days. But the problem is I was already back home. We discussed about me sending it back thru a courier or a friend going to Singapore bring it back for me. These would entail costs to bring it back and such hassle request for a friend to do it. She passed the phone to another Filipina - Orchid Bantayan and said she would talk to their branch manager about it. Gave them my email and mobile number and still waiting for their reply. Hope this goes on smoothly because we enjoyed our stay in Singapore with the friendly, courteous and English speaking locals. Hope that the minor problem involving our working kababayans will be resolved...
