Swish, sequestered Garibaldi is the pick of Singapore’s Italian crop (and Singapore tries hard) : Italian chefs and debonair staff, and over 150 Italian wines. The menu is classico; try the antipasti, then the homemade tortellini di granchio e cozze (handmade crab tortellini with mussels, zucchini and saffron sauce).

I'm a foodie . I love food, I live to eat. And my favourite restaurant is Garibaldi Italian Restaurant along Purvis Street. It's quite costly to eat there, but worth every penny. I normally start off with Roasted Goose Liver with Apricot jam, $28/-. The goose liver is roasted lightly and just melts in your mouth, the sea salt plays nicely on the sweetness of the apricot jam, and the richness of the goose liver is divine. Next comes their signature dish, Angel Hair Pasta with Lobster , $38/-. The angel hair is so fine, it's beautiful like golden threads in the sun. The pasta is steaming hot with great , big chunks of lobster. It' s most delicious. Next, I will have Roasted Lamb Rack with Mint Sauce $45/-. What can I say , I love my meat. The lamb is wonderful, there is no smelly , gamey taste to it at all. It's lamb heaven for me. And to end it all is a Molten Lava Chocolate Cake, I like the hot , flowing insides oozing out, hmmm.... Go try it out this valentine's day ! It's a great place for a night of food and romance.
