Lonely Planet review for Din Tai Fung
The queues at this Taiwanese restaurant are a testament to its excellent food. While waiting, watch chefs at work through ‘fishbowl’ windows; they painstakingly make 18 folds in the dough used for the xiao long pao (steamed pork dumplings). Delicate dumplings are served steaming fresh in bamboo baskets and explode with flavour in your mouth.

Good Food & Service keeps me coming back
beary84 recommends this,
There used to be long quenes due to the existence of only one outlet. Currently,Din Tai Fung has expanded and the waiting time have shortened tremendously.
Whenever I visit the place,I will always order the same dishes.Xiao Long Bao,Chicken soup,Fried rice with prawns and the chicken cutlet. The gravy of the xiao long bao is flavourful and should be consumed as soon as possible while its still hot.The chicken soup tastes like home-cooked soup and isn't salty. The fried rice is not too oily nor dry and is fried with lots of eggs. It's my fave dish at Din Tai Fung. Lastly, the chicken cutlet is tender and juicy which is a perfect complement to the fried rice.
Not to mention is the great service.Everytime I visit the place, the servers will provide me with a stand thingy so that i can place my bag on it. They will cover your bag with a clean cloth so that you won't spill any food on it.A great place to dine with your friends and family for good comfort food at affordable prices.

Ever busy restaurant but food is fast and good
ernest988 recommends this,
Been to DTH a few times. Would always eat the starter veggies....they would weight this and only a fixed amount available everyday so it can run out. Usually order xiao long bao fried rice with eggs and sometimes pork fried rice or beef noodles. Food is good and served fast. Guess they busy cooking! Be prepared to wait as usually you have to take a q number. While waiting you can order the food first so its served real fast once you get a seat!

More Outlets Now
eveho recommends this,
There used to be only 1 outlet in Paragon Shopping Centre. But now you can find Din Tai Fung in many other shopping centres like Wisma Atria, Tampines Mall, Junction 8,just to name a few.
If you think with the opening of more outlets the queue will disappear, then you are wrong! A snaking queue is still unavoidable during the dining hours, especially during weekends. But once you slurp on the rich and flavourful beef broth, and bite into the Xiao Long Bao filled with premium mince pork soaked in chicken stock, you will forget your aching feet from the queue.
After the hearty meal, wash down with a cup of Chinese tea and that completes your meal!Good for: food, Groups, Families
