Chef Chan’s Restaurant information
Eponymous chef, sick of cooking for over 200 people in his large restaurant, closes shop and opens tiny restaurant with nine tables and a daily changing set menu. It's decked out with his exquisite, over-the-top antique furnishing, which pales in comparison to the food. He recently handed the reins to a disciple while he jaunts through China to collect recipes. The menu (but not the atmosphere) is less stuffy; there's now dim sum, and prices have tumbled.
