Lonely Planet review

Another victim of the area going upmarket, the Waterloo Hostel is a hostel no longer (though the name, oddly enough, remains unchanged) but a hotel instead, having deleted dorm beds in favour of private rooms. The hotel is still clean and well run, with rooms equipped with TVs, fridges and phones. It’s within reasonable walking distance of Orchard Rd, the Colonial District and Bugis. Breakfast is included.
