National Museum of Singapore information
The grand dame of Singapore's museum scene is located in the history-drenched neoclassical 19th-century building that once housed the former Raffles Museum and Library. Perhaps the most magnificent feature of the building itself is the restored rotunda, which includes 50 carefully crafted pieces of stained glass. At once modern and classical, the museum features a wide variety of multimedia exhibits focused primarily on – naturally – Singapore's history, culture and overall glory.
