after some decent research and dancing with temptation to stay at rottnest island/magnetic island for NYE this year, my mind turns to singapore.
coming from melbourne, the price of flight/accommodation/etc for 10 nights (from dec 25) is roughly the same, if not more expensive in australia (seriously, base @ magnetic island $60-80/night). so, now i would like to rake through the minds and experiences of fellow LPers.
i've seen some photos/reviews from the big beach parties like siloso. would…
Hi there fellow travellers,
I am arriving at Singapore airport from Delhi and have an 18 hour stopover.
I am looking at either staying at the lounge in the airport, or leaving and staying at a hotel..
Would anyone have any recommendations on hotels? Or is it just worth staying at the airport lounge?
Hello! I'm traveling to Malaysia and planning to spend time in KL, Melacca, Penang, etc. Would it be a good idea to try and see Singapore as well? I would like to see it to check it off the list, but I am a bit pressed for time and I'm afraid it would just be more of the same food, culture, etc. I'll see in Malaysia. Would it offer a unique experience worth the time and cost to get to, or should I skip it this trip?
Hi im planning on visiting Singapore around 20th October for about a month and was wondering is anyone else going there or to a nearby south east Asia country, maybe we could be travel buddies or meet up, reply or send me a message please.
I have been frequenting Singapore for work for quite some time, for the past year and am hoping to be there soon! As hotels tend to be pricey, I would rather opt for furnished flats for short term accommodation. We would most likely be there for a week or two, depending on my work schedule and medical tests of my mate, whilst there.
Anybody with any suggestions of such accommodation options and their contact details and rates and any other relevant information? Cheers!
Hi, i have the opportunity to au pair in Singapore from Nov for 5 months. I am scared i wont meet anyone my own age and be lonely and not have anyone to explore singapore with on my days off. I am unsure whether to do it??
Any advice/ tips??
Hi all, thanx very much for reacting on my post on visiting New Creatio Church. Now I'm looking for a nice accomodation for a single traveler ( woman 33), that is cheap and nice. What could you recommed that is quiet and relaxed (if there is a place like that in Singapore)?
I want to au pair some where in South East Asia for a couple of months, i was thinking Singapore. I am a 18 year old female do you think i would be suited to live in Singapore or would somewhere else be more suitable? I am looking to experience a new culture and adventure and have fun, I am then hoping to travel around South East Asia for a couple of months or India after i have finished au pairing.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,
