Lim Chee Guan information
When food snobs hanker for bak kwa (barbecued preserved pork), they snack at this veteran. Around since 1938, Lim Chee Guan grills like no other, turning thin slices of jerky-like pork into wonderfully smokey, caramelised snacks with just the right balance of sweetness, saltiness and chewiness. Come Lunar New Year and the waiting time can reach eight hours. Yes, it's that good.
