Hello everybody,
next April I will enjoy a two weeks holiday to Seychelles.
I planned to visit the three main islands - Mahé, La Digue, and Praslin - but I am still uncertain about the length of my staying in each of them. I read Mahé is bigger than the others, but at the same time Praslin and La Digue seem to be richer in nature and places to visit.
If you have already been to Seychelles, can you suggest me how to subdivide the days between the three islands? I would like to enjoy my holiday as…

Hi travel team,

I am planning a trip to Seychelles in March of this year for 10-14 days. I plan to spend time on Mahe, Praslin, and La Digue.

I would like to know if anyone can recommend places to stay or places to eat. I am looking for simple places on teh beach to eat seafood and relax. Comfortable, but not fancy.

Thanks!

Mike McCaffrey

I am traveling with my almost 6 year-old daughter to Seychelles. My plan is to stay the first two nights on Mahé, and then move to Praslin or La Digue for five more nights. Apparently La Digue seems to be more special and perhaps a better experience for the child. I was thinking in one of the following options:
A) Leave Mahé, in the morning, spend the day in Praslin with a rented car and take the last ferry to La Digue to stay there for the rest of the holidays.
B) Stay in Praslin and go to La…

Hi

How is Seychelles in june / july ? Good time to visit ?

I like to go when it's nice weather and the colors and fauna are most vibrant ...

I'm thinking of going to Mahe, Praslin and La Digue.

How do I get to the hotel on La Digue with a large suitcase ? I hear, that there is'nt alot of car activity on La Digue ...

Are there any tour operators / sightseeeeing operators on the various islands or are you left on your own to explore ?

Thanx for advice.

Hi

My wife and I are going to the Seychelles i Marts.
So far we have only booked the flights, so we don't really know where to stay. Our interests are diving, nature and wildlife.
So any recommendation to which islands to visit and where to stay?
It does not need to be budget range, nor high end resorts.

We have read that you can get a better rate at some hotels if you book it via a local agent? But which agent and where to find this agent?

Finally from which island do we find the best diving…

I am planning to travel to Seychelles at the end March'16 with my 7 year old boy. I am a single mother and would love to relax and dive there. However I would like to stay in a place where my son can do other activities while I am diving during the day. He is still 7 years old so that he cannot do an introductory scuba dive course yet. Do you have any recommendations of places where to stay, where I can dive, and at the same time there are activities for my son?
Thank you so much, Sonia

Hi there!

We will be traveling to Seychelles in January and and we will arrive in a flight at 15:30pm. Looking for the ferries schedule I've came across the information that the last ones departure to either La Dingue or Praslin around 16:30h (and you have to board 16:20h). Is it doable or not? We will probably be with backpacks and we will try to board with them so no need to wait for lugagge. How is the border control/time to leave the airport to the ferry? Has anyone done stg like this and…

Boat rates

Travelling to Seychelles. We are on a budget. Is Catcocos the only boat option for travelling among the islands? We wanna go to La Digue, Praslin and Back to Mahe. Catcocos seems pricy.

Thanks.
