I will be staying a full week in Serbia and really enjoy river travel.
Hoping to travel up or down the Danube or the Sava? Perhaps Belgrade to Novi Sad or Smederevo?
I am aware of the 20 euro cruise ships that tour around for 2 or 3 hours in a circle, but I much prefer a slow ferry that will actually take me somewhere - local transport ferry to another town/city on the river.
If you are familiar with other such trips in neighbouring countries - please make a suggestion as well.
I'm currently in Mostar and wanting to travel to Foca then onto Kursumlija in order to reach devils town. I was wondering if this is possible as I know Kursumlija is the nearest town but getting to there from Foca in Bosnia is posing a problem.
If any one has any advice of where to go to get to devils town or how to get to Kursumlija from Foca please give me all you've got, haha

Prepaid SIM Card
There are 3 companies, Telenor, mts and VIP.
I went to Telenor shop at the main pedestrian street Knez Mihailova, but informed the SIM card was sold out, and advised to go to the next door mobile service shop called "Sky". Bought mts SIM Card here for RSD 1000 for 2GB data.
VIP official shop later on I saw at the end of the…
I am an Italian national who will be driving to Serbia with my own car (Italian registration).
I have read in several guidebooks (including LP) that Serbia requires an International Driving License. I cannot believe this is true: I drove to most Eastern Europe countries (including Montenegro and Albania) and nowhere was an International Driving License required.
Could anybody give me first-hand information about this issue?
Hello, I will be travelling from Belgrade to Pristina on Friday, 8th of July. I have tried to find information on this but I worry about it being outdated. What would you say is the best/smartest way to get from Belgrade to Pristina? Bus or train - either is fine, as long as it's reasonably direct.
I am traveling alone, and wish to go with a group tour or public transportation, or if not that expensive, by private tour/taxi.
- What is the best way to travel Frusca Gora and Sremski Karlovci, either from Belgrade or Novi Sad?
- Any recommended tour companies?
- Only monasteries and wineries are expected during the visit?
- Any naturally beautiful places surrounding?
- Is it possible to include also Subotica as a day trip?
Hi everyone :)
In September, I plan to take a flight from Belgrade to Paris (CDG) at 6:40 in the morning - arrival in Paris CDG at 9:40.
I have to be in CDG that day because I am flying back to Canada at 12:45. It's a wednesday.
Is it risky to take a flight at 6:40 in the morning? Is it easy to get to the airport? What's the best way? Is the lowcost company (Air Serbia) reliable?
I really want to make sure that it is possible to take those 2 flights in the same day.
Thanks in advance for…
Hi i would like to know if anyone can give me some current info on trains from Belgrade to Timisoara. All I know is that you need to change in Vrsac. If anyone knows anything else about the train times and cost it would be much appreciated
I plan to stay 4 days in Belgrade. I'd like to use one day to go on a daytrip and see the Iron Gate. I was searching the web and some tour operators charge extremely high prices, do you know any reliable one, or is it doable with public transport?
My boyfriend & I are going to Serbia & Croatia in July. We are flying into Belgrade. Can anyone e recommend a car hire company? Would prefer to use a local company but not necessarily, depends on the price.
