Introducing Peja
Peja (Peč) is a mix of modern Yugoslav development in the town centre and Turkish-era buildings around the bazaar. The major attractions of the Patrijaršija Monastery, the Rugova Gorge and the Decani Monastery lie outside town. Rearing up behind the town, several 2000m-plus mountains form a picture- postcard backdrop.
