Can anyone tell me the best way of travelling from Puyo, Ecuador to Peru to do the Inca trail?Well there are 2 options. 1. You fly. Bus to Ambato then Quito. Flight from Quito to Cusco via Lima. Voila. 2. You don't fly. Bus via Ambato to the Peruvian border and onwards to Lima.

for something far more basic. SAS Travel - http://www.sastravelperu.com/english/program/339/inca-trail... or don't meet your needs, this website has most (all?) of the Licensed Inca Trail Tour Operators. As you can imagine, prices vary with quality of service and (most importantly) porter treatment. http://www.incatrailperu.com/inca_trail
