Getting there & around
Ullapool is 215 miles from Edinburgh and 60 miles from Inverness. Scottish Citylink has three daily buses, Monday to Saturday, from Inverness to Ullapool (£9, 1½ hours), connecting with the ferry. CalMac runs a ferry service to Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. Tickets can be purchased from the CalMac office.
Bikes can be hired from West House Hostel.
