Glencoe Mountain Resort
Glencoe Mountain Resort information
Scotland's oldest ski area, established in the 1950s, is also one of the best, with grand views across the wild expanse of Rannoch Moor. The chairlift continues to operate in summer providing access to mountain-biking trails. The Lodge Café-Bar (open 9am to 8.30pm) at the base station has comfy sofas where you can soak up the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows. In winter a lift pass costs £32 a day; equipment hire is £25.
There are tent pitches (£6 per person), camping pods (£50 a night) and campervan hookups (£15 a night) beside the car park.
