Millennium Hotel Glasgow
Lonely Planet review
You want central? This is central. Overlooking George Sq, the massive Victorian building constructed for the Tobacco Lords is now a top luxury hotel blessed with helpful and attentive staff. Rooms that overlook George Sq with their floor-to-ceiling windows are best, but if you find that a bit noisy (although windows do have double glazing) rooms towards the rear of the hotel are much quieter. Book through the website for better prices.
