Only in Glasgow could such a hip, exclusive hotel emerge free from pretensions.Crisp, clean and at the cutting edge of design, this historic, former education authority building, constructed in 1911 in a classical style, means the hotel has high ceilings, huge windows and an airy, spacious feel.
Rooms here vary a bit in layout so it's worth looking at a few. If you're after a double, No 303 has the dual advantage of being at the back of the hotel and having a cityscape view. The service here is the icing on the cake - very personable staff will go out of their way to assist you. The onsite Arthouse Grill is Glaswegian dining at its best, serving beautifully presented dishes with a bent towards Scottish produce.
