Waterstone's flagship Princes St branch has four floors of books, with a good Scottish section on the ground floor and lots of travel guides and a coffee shop on the 2nd floor. It hosts frequent book signings and author events. There's another branch down the road at No 13 (; - Mon-Fri, - Sat, - Sun).
