Lonely Planet review for Eteaket

A 'tea boutique' serving more than 40 varieties of leaf tea, this cosy cafe also offers tempting breakfasts (bagels, toasted croissants, scrambled eggs), fresh sandwiches (ciabatta with hummus, feta cheese and sunblush tomatoes) and afternoon tea (scones with jam and clotted cream).

    What's not to love...?

    cchanter recommends this,

Excellent every time we've been here - Great atmosphere, the best selection of teas (coffee's pretty good too) and always made to feel welcome and looked after. Definitely one of our favourites.

I loved this place when I first found it...

    jackta101 does not recommend this,

When I first went to eteaket I was in love; the atmosphere was great and the staff really knew their stuff. But that was a year ago, and since then the staffing seems to have changed a little bit and now you get a very hit and miss experience.

I've been told several conflicting things regarding certain products such as their iced teas and either they've changed their cake suppliers or the supplier changed their cakes, but never before have I left a slice of cake because it was revolting, especially when the week before that same cake was amazing.

That said - their teas are lovely and the experience with the pot is unique as far as I can find to eteaket.
