Scotland’s National Centre for Dance is a complex of studios housed in a spectacular modern building in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle; it’s actually worth a visit for the architecture alone. The centre runs courses in all kinds of imaginable dance – from ballroom to belly, hip-hop to Highland, tango to tap – as well as hosting workshops and performances.
