Kerachers Restaurant

If you are looking for somewhere really special where you can be sure that the food will be delicious, the surroundings warm and intimate and the service just as it should be- there, but not obtrusive, then try Kerachers Restaurant. The quality of the food at this restaurant is consistently high and the flavours are immense. The last time I was there I had the Smoked Haddock tartlet for starters and it is so moreish that I would have been satisfied with another serving for my main course. The pastry of the tartlet is so beautifully crumbly and the rich flavour of the haddock in the leek sauce is wonderful. For my main course I decided to try the Sea Bass which again tasted as good as any that I have had when on holiday in Portugal. It came served with a beautifully seasoned rissotto and a wonderfully piquant green pesto - a lovely combination of flavours, For dessert I had the old favourite of sticky toffee pudding, but here it comes served with a delicious warm toffee sauce and a truly amazing home made Baileys ice cream. Absolutely superb - and I don't usually go for puddings!
The restaurant is definitley one of my favourites due to the quality of food and the warm ambience of the dining area. It is also excellent value for money.Good for: Romance, atmosphere, food, service
