Lonely Planet review for Waterfront Restaurant
Housed on the top floor of a converted seamen’s mission, the Waterfront’s stylish, unfussy decor – dusky pink and carmine with pine tables and local art on the walls – does little to distract from the superb seafood freshly landed at the quay just a few metres away. The menu ranges from crispy-battered haddock and chips to pan-fried scallops with lime, chilli and coriander pickle. There’s an early evening menu (5.30pm to 6.45pm) offering two courses for £11.50, or soup followed by fish and chips for £9.75. Best to book for dinner.

Excellent
nv1984 recommends this,
We arrived at 1410 for a 1330 booking and they still managed to squeeze us in. The waitress was exceptionally friendly and the two course lunch was excellent value, washed down with a couple of beers and a lovely viognier for just over twenty quid each. Would definitely go again.

Well what can I say but this restaurant supersedes any other so called restaurant here in Oban.
I have been coming to the Waterfront since I moved to Oban over 2 years ago and have always been 100% satisfied, whether it is service, food or ambience.Go see for yourself!
