Are there any ferries which travel between Saudi Arabia and Egypt (e.g. Duba and Safaga)?
The websites of the companies who are supposed to have ferries running are either empty, or the show no concrete information (no schedules or prices).
If yes, can we use the ferries as foreigners (provided we would solve the visa question)?
Did anybody travel this way?
I have a commercial visa for 2 weeks, but maybe only 1 weeks work (in Jeddah).
Does anyone know if I could get into 'trouble' if I took the second week to be a 'tourist' and travel say to Madain Saleh?
I was thinking of taking the ferry from Suakin to jeddah then getting a bus or two all the way to Doha. I have a connecting flight (originally from Khartoum) in Doha
Is this remotely feasible?
Is a connecting flight (back to London) from Doha sufficient proof of onward travel?
I heard you can get the transit visas from suakin

My husband and I were thinking to travel to Saudi Arabia to explore the region.
I wanted a company that was located in the hub to ensure that I am near if any problem occurs as I am traveling from North America.
So I kept on searching online for a trust site [commercial details removed] They had the same scheme as online bookings but what surprised me it was targeting and suggested for each category where to go.
Anyhow I wanted to visit Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam. It started all in the bride…
