Bird-watching in Rwanda may not be in the same league as the rest of East Africa, but there are some good opportunities for ornithologists in Parc National de Nyungwe, where a host of Albertine Rift endemics can be seen. Another decent spot is Parc National de l’Akagera, in the east of the country, which offers an alternative range of savannah birds.
