Getting there & around
Tver (often still listed as Kalinin on time- tables) is accessible by suburban train (R102, three hours, hourly) from Moscow's Leningradsky vokzal. Faster, long-distance trains between Moscow and St Petersburg also stop at Tver. There are also buses (R100, three hours) to/from Moscow's Yaroslavsky vokzal.
Trams 2, 5, 6 and 11 run from the bus and train stations up Chaykovskogo and Tverskoy pr to the town centre.
