Beside one of the prettiest curves of the Moyka River is this little house where the poet Pushkin died after his duel in 1837. Now the Pushkin Flat-Museum, it has been reconstructed to look as it did in the poet’s time and includes (for morbid fans) Pushkin’s death mask, a lock of his hair and the waistcoat worn on the day he died. Admission includes an audio guide.
