A very welcome addition to the dearth of good restaurants in this part of town is this charming place, which has an interesting menu of Russian food with a modern slant. Unfortunately there are no English menus and even those in Russian are hard to read as they’re handwritten, so ordering can be tricky. That said, it’s well worth the effort – on a sunny day, the seats outside on the terrace are hot property. Good breakfasts are served daily until noon, and until 2pm on weekends (reservations are essential). There’s also a child’s playroom.
