Lonely Planet review
At the cheaper end of the midrange spectrum this new small hotel, midway between Sennaya Pl and Vitebsk Station, is worth searching out. The pale blue and pink painted exterior of this building secluded amid a housing block long used as a military barracks gives a good impression, as does the art nouveau-style decoration of the lobby.
The spacious air-conditioned rooms have modern furnishings with a choice of double or twin beds covered in striped bedspreads. Ground-floor rooms are advertised as being suitable for those in wheelchairs; the doors are wide enough for a wheelchair and everything is on the level in the bathrooms, although there are no specific fittings to assist the disabled. The cafe where the buffet breakfast, included in the prices, is served is attached to the lobby. The parking area immediately in front of the hotel is very secure and the trees and grass here provide a leafy aspect in summer. Staff are welcoming, helpful and speak a little English.
