Getting there & away

From late May through August or so, the daily hydrofoil leaves the river station (23297; 9am-4pm) headed for Komsomolsk (R1350, 12 hours) at 5am (a nice ride actually), and for Khabarovsk (R2330, 17 to 18 hours) at midnight. Year-round there are daily flights to Khabarovsk (R4000, 1½ hours).
