Getting there & away
Frequent local buses (101, 102 and 105) run to Apatity (R16, 30 minutes). There are also four daily buses to Monchegorsk (R91, 1½ hours) and Murmansk (R238, 5½ hours), leaving from pr Lenina in the centre.
Kola TAVS(94160; ul Yubileynaya 13; air & bus tickets 8.30am-2pm & 3-6pm, train tickets 8am-2pm & 3-5pm Mon-Fri, 8am-2pm Sat) sells tickets for buses from Kirovsk, trains from Apatity and planes from Khibiny airport.
